Bad enough the brothers first experience a divorce, then watch their mother die of cancer, then they Both fall in love with the same girl who has a Lifetime Connection to them. Give me a Break. I think that is one tragedy too much. There is NO redeeming value in this book/movie. I really like the actors in the movie but even they can’t save a POORLY WRITTEN BOOK. The emotional beats hit harder, and the characters feel a bit more grounded. It’s still got the love triangle drama (of course), but this time there’s more depth and growth. Some parts felt stretched, but overall, it kept me watching. Not perfect, but if you’ve followed the story this far, it’s worth seeing how things unfold. But that excitement was short-lived. The new season has been so disappointing. So many bad examples of what relationships should never look like, are just everywhere.
