Adam Davidson TheWrap WWE: Unreal gives the audience unprecedented access, going backstage with WWE Superstars and staff as they bring the company’s biggest spectacles to life from the Royal Rumble to WrestleMania. Jul 30, 2025 Full Review Lauren Coates Nerdspin While the series offers plenty of technical, surface-level insights, there aren’t any revelations in WWE: Unreal that can’t be found in the average wrestler’s backstage vlog. Rated: C Jul 30, 2025 Full Review Emmanuel Noisette The Movie Blog Netflix’s WWE: Unreal is a fascinating, deeply engaging look into the wrestling business that balances personal storytelling with behind-the-scenes revelations. Rated: 8/10 Jul 29, 2025 Full Review Alistair McGeorge metro.co.uk If you already love WWE, you’ll love seeing how they create the magic. If you’ve never given it the chance, you’ll gain a deeper respect for pro wrestling as an art form. Rated: 4.5/5 Jul 29, 2025 Full Review Jonathon Wilson Ready Steady Cut ...just as Unreal is completely unwilling to utter the acronym “AEW”, it’s also reluctant to admit what it’s selling and who it’s trying to sell it to. Audience Member To those asking why WWE would show this: everyone already knows wrestling is scripted so why not show this? I appreciate learning about how things are put together, such as the Gorilla Station. You learn more about the real people behind the characters, and see just how "real" the punishment they take in the ring really is. I thoroughly enjoyed this series and hoping more will continue to come. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/30/25 Full Review Joshua H Why did they release this??? Are they trying to destroy wrestling??? Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/29/25 Full Review Lenny M WWE has not been fun for a long time. They are far too controlling, contrived and manipulative. They always have been. They also have a long history of being run by morally corrupt people. It just feels like a con and you feel dirty for watching it sometimes. Oh, and the Rocky, you're character is just awful now. You were something 25 years ago. Stick to the movies maybe..? Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/29/25 Full Review Read all reviews
