I worried initially that the script might feel chained to its one shtick, but it absolutely works. I found myself chuckling at first, then genuinely laughing out loud, and by the end, I was completely won over by this films charm.

A modern twist on the movie Misery more dark than truly comedic (spoiler alert -- the funniest character is her friend's bf). I wanted to like it but at some point gave up. It seemed that the screenwriter did the same.

The movie started out OK, but then quickly died and showed lack of development by the producer and director with a hit or miss plot that resulted in the main actors trying too hard for a script that just didnt work. Other viewers left halfway through the movie. I think they were the lucky ones.
