Two highly-trained operatives (Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy) are appointed to posts in guard towers on opposite sides of a vast and highly classified gorge, protecting the world from an undisclosed, mysterious evil that lurks within. For a movie like this to excel, the creators have to thread a very specific needle. The romance has to spark. The monsters have to be terrifying. The mystery needs to be fully engaging. Unfortunately, The Gorge is halfway there in all three facets.

This movie is good if you don't take it that seriously. It's not the best rom-com, not the best horror, not the best sci-fi, not the best action - but all of those genres being wrapped into one movie actually makes it a decently fun movie. Nothing mind-blowint, but worth a watch.

This was a good blend of Romance, Thriller, and Sci Fi. I wasn’t sure I would like this movie, because I checked out some of the “Bad Reviews” on here. But, I was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be a good movie!

Absolutely braindead movie. Beyond terrible. No reason why this should tolerated. It's actually painful to see in real time the money that was burned to bring this meaningless amalgamation of images to life. Some people might find this review silly and think to themselves "oh that movie was okay", and that's precisely why I feel this way. The cultural standards gets lowered every time a "movie" like this gets released and people just accept it. Honestly what the hell was even that movie? It's like 10 different ideas all crammed up under the same umbrella of mediocrity. Ask yourself a question, did you feel anything emotionally at all during this film?
