Travis A true marathon of a character study, one of the most impressive pieces of media I’ve ever witnessed in my life Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/29/25 Full Review alittlemoviefan It was a good film, and beautiful to watch. It was not as worthwhile as it was hyped up to be. Good casting. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/07/25 Full Review Sean Some of the same feeling you can get! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/03/25 Full Review Moviegurl A waste of three hours in a movie theatre. What were they thinking? So awful! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/23/25 Full Review Leonardo F It was a very truthful movie and had much understanding to pain and resolve. What I learned is that through pain and difficulty you can always choose to get up. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/06/25 Full Review Parsavage Its a bold move that second half. Corbet couldve been perfectly fine carrying out the themes of the first half into a decent drama, a pseudo biopic, something people want. But he makes the more personal choice. Its less popular but its arguably a better movie, just one the audience wasnt expecting. The film is told from a male perspective. At first its obnoxious you notice the male gaze, the themes of the story are inherently masculine, etc. But its intentional. It carries into the second half with Felicity Joness character and how Tth perceives her but it changes entirely after the trip to Italy. I skimmed over scenes from the whole movie, it recontextualizes everything. Down to the music. Down to the production design. Even a one-off line from before the opening credits. Its something of a horror story. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/29/25 Full Review Read all reviews
