Sinners Reviews

Jul 31, 2025

Happy to have paid to watch this.

This was on…. I do not understand the hype over this movie. Nothing spectacular. 3-4 very drawn out and unneeded scenes. Just didn’t see the point. Lost boys and from dusk till dawn are still better vampire movies.

LOVED it. Wish I could experience this movie for the 1st time again. Culture with the club felt accurate. Love the boy becoming a Man theme. Michael B and Michael C Jordan were awesome.

The movie doesn’t capture the audience quick enough

So I live like it's the last time. For a long time, at the wrong time. When's the right time? Is it my time?

I love the old timey feeling as well as Micheal b Jordan and Hailee steinfield’s performance, you could feel both the horror and comedy aspects

Even without the vampires, this would’ve been a great drama about these two brothers. With the vampires its even better. Possibly Ryan Coogler’s best film.

Wow, it goes to show that people truly don't review honestly. Omg this movie stinks! I'll make this review short and to the point: 1. Who wrote this story? Someone who's had a lobotomy? No imagination. 2. Pace- slow as hell. 3. Can't understand the three main lead male actors. Are they chewing on their tongues while they talk? 4. Action- was there any? 5. Conclusion- yawn I'll do a better job from now on looking for real reviews of movies. Most are paid for and not real.

For something that I felt would be nothing but a trope of a movie and reliving the old feel of films like The Lost Boys, It was great. Even though it's not an entirely new idea but it was fresh with the incorporation of the rich valued culture of the blues. It is a breath of fresh air amongst theaters filled with sequels and less risks. This is one that will bring back the feel of old story telling in films and bring it back to the modern. This is a movie that took a chance on bringing something new to something old and gave a solid reason to go to the theater.

Was looking forward to this after seeing so many positive reviews, but honestly couldn’t get past the first 20 minutes.

It actually is a great movie. I was pretty sad by the end

Ryan Coogler delivers a hypnotic blend of horror, history, and blues in this Southern Gothic vampire tale. Michael B. Jordan stuns in dual roles, but it’s Miles Caton’s breakout performance that steals the show. Lush visuals, haunting music, and real emotional weight—Sinners is bold, bloody, and unforgettable.
