Karate Kid: Legends Reviews
Good but too rushed
I love how they mixed both karate kid movies as well as cobra Kai,I love Li and conor
A nice modern retelling of the Karate Kid story. Will it match the feel or popularity of the 80s original? No. If I had one minor complaint about the movie is that the storyline was on fast speed. The plot felt rushed. Still - It’s a feel good movie.
Great family fun! Nostalgic with Ralph and Jackie. Ben is a welcome force to the franchise! Loved the storyline. My kids are now practicing how to dragon kick! 🤣
Who cares what the critics think. The karate kid genre lives on. No other franchise has been revived like this one it's TV show and movies are full of humor and action. A great break from the mundane supposed to be realistic movies. It's just plain and simply goofy geek 80's movie fun.
This was a fun watch
It was a great story line, great Karate Kid vibes… but why was it rushed and so short? The movie had no depth, great cast, great storyline but, they blew past a big opportunity.
Great to see the Original Karate kid in a movie. Jackie was great as to be expected. It was funny and full of exciting karate. Very enjoyable movie.
Mr. Miyagi! This alone worth 1 star for the legendary nostalgia memory. Good actions with touch of gamify, prefect for family watch.
I think this movie came out at the wrong time, it is a good movie, but it fails at the moment when it becomes a little silly. But the old fans of the saga are the ones who are likely to enjoy the film the most. The moments of action are pretty good.
Seemed like a very rushed movie, im not familiar with Sadie Stanley or Ben Wong but thought their acting was good.
Was hoping it would have been a bit better, it was OK, not a patch on the originals.
Too much in the movie. Still have some nice fights.
Just another crap money grabbing movie for idiots. There is nothing useful in this movie, everything is so fast and focus on a relationship between a Chinese and toxic New York b*tch. No real training, just a quick montage and then after 1 hour of bs they start the tournament just to avenge a friend. Should have named it Kung Fu kid. Clowns!!!
It was fun to watch both legends a bit cheesy and corny but very fun to watch.
entertaining, kids enjoyed itbasnrhey are both Kajukenbo students.
It’s very charming at times, in large part due to Ben Wang who is very good here. However, as much charm as it has the story lacks originality. It’s a breezy hour and a half so no harm in watching this down the line.
The first 30 Minutes of the Movie were pretty bad, the Storytelling wasnt good the Plot was basic as hell and the whole Movie in general was just very corny and basic, it wasnt anything special you literally saw some scenes and some lines over and over again. But as soon as we got more scenes with Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio the movie became way more entertaining and funny, at this point it made so much fun watching this movie and the length is great as well. Overall a good Movie with a rough start but a good ending.
It's a great movie to just sit down eat some popcorn and enjoy, pretty nostalgic with hidden Easter eggs from the original. But is it a movie I would watch again? Probably not. It has crisp hidden animations but it is not one of the best movies ever.
