We took our 6 year old granddaughter to see Elio and she lived it! Wants to go back and see it again!

It’s OK Not very funny, lacks plot

Elio, as a character, totally sucked. He was so annoying. But GLORDON CARRIED THE MOVIE. He was the absolute best. And the visuals were good as well.

Good Pixar. Good animation, great score. Cliche third act, but really cool first half

It has a touching story with a boy who dosent fit in and finally find somewhere where he thinks he belongs. I love it!

After watching countless films over the past two months, I can confidently say that while this one has its flaws, it’s absolutely not bad. My initial worries about whether it would disappoint vanished the moment the credits rolled. The movie masterfully captures the raw, real-world conflict between Elio and his aunt: she had to sacrifice her dream of becoming an astronaut to care for her mischievous child, while Elio, feeling utterly out of place and unable to make friends, yearned for an escape into another world to flee reality. But through his loyal friend Gloden, Elio gradually realizes his aunt’s deep, unwavering love for him—she never gave up on him, even when he was a burden. This revelation empowers him to try adapting to the real world without causing her more trouble, learning to make peace with himself and stop blaming the world around him. I almost cried twice during this movie, I liked this movie, but at the same time this movie kind of felt rushed.

My Wife took our Nieces, 5 and 7, to see this with their grandma. My wife's review was "It was the most boring and stupid movie I have ever seen in theaters." The 7 year old was laying on the floor and wandering she was so bored. The 5 year old was asking if they could leave every 5 minutes she was so bored. Children and adults alike found it boring and dumb.

Overall a pretty cute movie, but lacking depth in characters and a subpar art style. This movie was interesting, but not very fun. This is a film that i’ll definitely never be coming back to watch, and will very much be forgotten in 10 years.

Wonderful movie with the same charme Pixar has been showing since I was a little boy as well as great way to spend with family

Great story. Fairly unique. But most importantly it’s well paced, well written and well acted. The scary scenes may be a bit too well done for especially squeamish preschoolers, but I’d still recommend it for all ages. It’s a shame they neglected to advertise this properly.
