How to Train Your Dragon Reviews
While retaining some of the originals charms, I was just missing Hicup from the originals the whole time .
Toothless is my favorite 😊
This film is standing proof that if you respectfully stick to the original story, the idea of remaking one is not necessarily bad.
Faithful to the original, visually amazing, and full of heart. A fresh take that’s easily a highlight of the year.
Perfect real life version of the original animation. I loved that Hiccups father was played by the same actor as the original animated version. I loved it. I can’t wait to see the next one. I hope they keep this going. Very enjoyable watching the movie my young child grew up loving coming to real life version so many years later and stayed true to the original.
Make me cry again. Great cast. Great dragon
Great action packed movie thats appropriate for the whole family.
It was a 1 to 1 remake of the original animated film. Kinda plain and not a lot of funny moments. It did retain my attention for the whole film and I could watch it again. The only really bad part is it’s the exact same as the original. So not to hard to make. Overall a kid film for a family but not a masterpiece at all.
The one thing that really bothered is that the young dragon trainer had a very obvious American manner of speech when all other characters spoke like true Scots. I found it to be very distracting.
Absolute must see. It is not kids friendly. Made for teenagers and adults
What a wonderful adaptation to live action. Truly a must see!!!!
ABSOLUTE CINEMA MANS👏👏👏👏👏💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Best live action, remake, and better than all the other how to train your Dragon movies
If you liked the animated you'll love this. Casting was perfect to a T. All the notes were hit right. Perfect execution.
My sister and I enjoyed the movie! I mostly did, even cried in between some scenes because the acting was phenomenal and the experience to see it live was just, beautiful.
We all enjoyed this film, great for families of all ages!
Me volví acordar que es una buena pelicula!
Loved it! Consistent with the animated version. Great special fx. Gerard Butler. A home run.
This movie is for me the best animation adaptation for live action ever made. The film perfectly adapts the cartoon, it's almost like a perfect adaptation, there are some choices of actors that I found questionable and for me this is the only flaw of the movie, because the plot perfectly adapts the original animated film, and the designs are done in a masterful way, a great movie.
I don’t believe a live-action adaptation was needed… The animation is literally perfection. But as far as live-action adaptations go, THIS should be the blueprint.
