Grease 2 has somehow managed to pick up a decent amount of devotees over the decades, which makes me believe there must be hope for the likes of Battlefield Earth and The Hottie & the Nottie.

Besides the sad fact that the screenwriter (Ken Finkleman) had to carbon copy the original (perhaps he was forced to by Carr), many of the songs, while hummable, have innocuous lyrics that even high schoolers would find laughable.

The original was a hard act to follow but this energetic sequel floats on a raft of ditties from the likes of Tab Hunter and Connie Stevens. That said, the questionable 'Reproduction' has to be heard to be believed.

Definitely of the so-bad-it's-almost-good genre, this kinda stands the test of time in a camp way, mainly because of the charm of Pfeiffer and Carrington.
