Tara Brady Irish Times Entertainingly punctuated by horror pyrotechnics and quick reprogrammings. We salute the costume and continuity departments (Betty Austin) on Iris’s consistently bloody frills as she runs, fights and reasons for her “life”. Rated: 4/5 Feb 28, 2025 Full Review Tim Cogshell FilmWeek (LAist) Funny, effective, and very well executed by these actors. Feb 11, 2025 Full Review Stephanie Bunbury Financial Times The colours are Barbie-bright, right down to the pink title sequence; writer-director Drew Hancock is similarly aiming to give us sexual politics in a popcorn box, but with added stage blood. Rated: 3/5 Feb 8, 2025 Full Review Marissa Hill Shade Studios Companion is an intriguing, multi-layered film that keeps you guessing until the very end, proving that even in a world full of programmed emotions, there’s still room for rebellion and self-determination. Jul 30, 2025 Full Review Guillermo Troncoso Screen Realm Companion is funny, engaging, and doesn’t overstay its welcome... An easy recommendation for those wanting a fun, genre-blending horror-comedy. Rated: 4/5 Jul 29, 2025 Full Review Maxance Vincent FlickSided As solidly made as Companion may be, it just doesn’t have the same juice—or freshness—that Cregger brought to the table [with Barbarian], no matter how many directions this 97-minute comedy takes. Diego R don't watch trailers. go in blind. much more fun go into it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/31/25 Full Review Juandi This is a fun film not to be taken seriously. Though it plays with ideas we’ve seen & heard of before, it still manages to hold its own special place in the horror genre. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/06/25 Full Review Ryan M Solid movie with a bit of humor to mellow the violence. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/06/25 Full Review Tucker J Great script! Awesome actors and a fun time! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/24/25 Full Review Jalen S Companion is a really cool movie. It hooks you from the beginning and never lets you go. I was glued to the screen the entire time. I found this to be be refreshing and fun. Great concept and twists. I didn’t know much of anything about this film aside from the first trailer and that was for the best. It helped to not know much going into this because I ended up being pleasantly surprised by it. Overall, this was an awesome and entertaining movie if you’re looking for something different or out of the box to watch. Definitely recommend. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/03/25 Full Review Logan This was an incredible take on an already done concept. Robots and AI aren't new but the spin that was done with this movie is to be remembered and to be praised for its greatness. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/27/25 Full Review Read all reviews
