Bleak, bloody, and effective eco-horror. This grizzly homage to the cartoon trauma of Bambi's past should satisfy those who want to enjoy a bloody-fun bastardization of their youth and an exploitation of their childhood traumas.

Bambi: The Reckoning is Cujo for the Brothers Grimm aficionados, one of the strongest additions to the Poohniverse, if not the best so far. It’s B-horror as B-horror should be: bloody, cruel, unflinching, and not concerned with the dramatics.

It's Bambi: The Reckoning, if you're going into this movie expecting grade A acting then you will be disappointed. The point of this film is to have fun, get a good laugh and watch Bambi absolutely wreck things up. Watching this with others that have the same sense of humor makes this movie 10x better

The movie was too short, but it was a great B rated film. we had the theater to ourselves, and our group had a blast. Sure, there were some plot holes, but the humorous situations more than made up for it. We are looking forward to Bambi 2!
